• Throughout this ZBrush tutorial, we'll gain the knowledge and understanding of character development using a digital pipeline. We'll cover conceptualization and what steps should be taken to finalize a model for production purposes. The course consists of designing and modeling a character, then rendering it using ZBrush and Maya. We will use KeyShot and Photoshop along our pipeline as well. Our final model in this ZBrush training will be capable of rigging for animation in film, games, and also prepared for 3D printing. • In this series of tutorials, we'll be designing a product ad for print in Illustrator. We will start by setting up the artboard for our document. We'll begin by placing the artwork and copy for our ad, which also contains the instructions from our client. We'll go over the importance of color in our ad and why just picking different colors isn't always the best method for creating contrast. We'll also learn how to use Typekit to browse and add fonts to our library. We'll finish by creating different layout options for our client to choose from and then package up our ad for print. This course goes over the process for using Illustrator to create a print-ready ad, and by the end of this course, you'll be familiar with the steps necessary for creating a clean layout with legible text that will make your client and printer happy. Software required: Adobe Illustrator CC 2014.

• In this ZBrush tutorial, you'll expand your knowledge and skill set with more than just sculpting tools and ideas. We'll base our starting point on a real-life animal and design our custom creature from there. We'll put ourselves on a "deadline" to present this concept to the film director as an example; our focus is going to be design and function. We'll be trying to understand the underlying bone structure first, then move on with our more traditional sculpting tools in order to achieve our result. After fleshing things out, we'll discuss detailing, final rendering, and post-work in Photoshop. • Throughout these lessons, we'll learn how to quickly create a strong advertising campaign for a cosmetic billboard's initial composition. We'll cover how to create a realistic vector lipstick illustration from a sketch in Illustrator, as well as create a colorful, realistic beauty portrait from a stock reference photo. By the end of the course, you'll be more knowledgeable in how to create a logo for a fashion/cosmetics company, how to apply effective background gradients and lighting effects to billboards in Photoshop, as well as how to arrange the final composition. Software required: Illustrator CS6, Photoshop CS6.

• In this Photoshop tutorial, we'll learn how to create a stylized poster. We'll start by masking out the guitarist's backdrop using the quick selection tool and the refine edges features. Next, we'll to set up the poster to the required size and add bleed margins, then explain why they are needed for print projects such as this. We'll also explore how to produce cool crowd silhouettes from stock photos using channel selections. After this, we'll execute a dynamic stylized look for the guitarist using a combination of both the posterize and threshold adjustments. We'll then effectively add mixed media elements to the composition. Finally, we'll add text to the final composition by using Typekit to select new fonts that fit the poster design before finally administering texture to the text to add more drama to the piece. By the end of this Photoshop training, you'll be more comfortable working with the various elements in your own concert poster. Software required: Photoshop CS6.
