Unlike other video editing software, Kdenlive does not have an upfront cost or monthly subscription of any kind. This makes it perfect for people who are trying out video editing and aren't yet ready to make a large investment in software. Kdenlive is also not a trial version which means that there are no length limitations on the video clips you can export, and there are no watermarks.
