Capturing the essence of a place and facing a blank page can feel overwhelming.  In this class we will use the magic of thumbnail sketches ("miniature-sketches") and the method of "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" to boost our drawing skills, because a good drawing is essential to make a good painting !  Making several miniature drawings on one page is magic because it makes drawing less overwhelming and the overall page filled with several drawings will always look great!  Thumbnails are a great way to boost your drawing skills and a chance to play with different materials and layouts to find our drawing and painting style. They help to let go of perfectionism and to play around more easily, without fear of ruining the page, because it’s just a small thumbnail….  This class takes away the fear of making a bad drawing, takes away the fear of not having talent. It makes learning to sketch and paint more fun.  In the class you will exercise 5 major perceptual skills based on Betty Edwards book "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain", which helped me to improve my drawings:
