In this class, we are going to create a t-shirt design for a rock band, from sketch to final vector.

I will share my process for creating ideas, developing attribute words and research. Next, we will begin sketching ideas in my sketchbook (or you can use an iPad) and refine one idea to continue developing inside Adobe Illustrator. 

I will show you how I convert a handmade sketch into a vector art file using the pen tool. I will share each step of re-creation to create a detailed illustration for my band shirt. Then we will add colors and textures to complete the look.

Lastly, we will export a vector art file for screen printing and also a PNG file for print on demand, so you rock band client can have both options. I will also show you how to create a realistic t-shirt mockup so you can send it to your client, for them to be able to promote their brand new shirt design!
