Original characters are very personal & special. They allow us to create our own worlds & stories, often by drawing inspiration from our own life experiences and perceptions. However, the process of bringing an original character to life can feel difficult and confusing.
In this class, I will walk you through my process of creating a character, from brainstorming the first concept to the final illustration, so you can bring your original characters to life! We will begin by brainstorming a character concept using a simple template, followed by sketching our own character sheet & concluding with a final illustration!
