I will give you my tips on how to explore and choose details, then you will see how you can create the first subject of a series of drawing in which you can incorporate a selection of signature items.

• how to stick to a consistent look in your artwork 

This class is for everyone.

You can start this class if it’s this is going to be your first drawing or you can find it useful to refresh your existing artwork - in fact I will also show how I use my existing artwork to find my own recurrent elements and give you tips on how you can do the same.

I will provide you all the things you need to get started, including a Pinterest board and a list of examples that will guide you through the choice of your signature details.

I will supply some sketches for download if you would like to print it, and we will work together on one of those sketches - I will show you how to explore, choose and add details. You will see what supplies I like to use and how I move through the creative process, taking as example some of my works that gave me hint of what my style is today.

I will refer to some instagram profiles of artist with recurrent details in their artworks, so you can see what the result of a consistent style can be and being inspired!

You will not require special equipment. Any media will work, this is an exercise to train your mind to recognize what element represents you the most and what will make your portfolio consistent, or just starting a series of drawings that have elements that represent your style and lead towards creating an amazing portfolio.
