You will also learn how REITS and FIRPTA goes hand and hand when it comes to investing in real estate in the U.S. REITs were initially introduced, in part, to allow taxpayers of more modest means to invest in real estate. Also this course will briefly cover you the PATH act and how it works in conjunction with FIRPTA, so you will better understand how to protect yourself as a Foreign National real estate investor, in regards to tax withholding's and the IRS.
