Over the years, the sub-genres of Soul have evolved. However, one of the most interesting sub-genres of Soul remains to be Avant Soul (Avant meaning, "innovative" or "progressive"). It is Soul music that doesn't completely rid itself of the natural feel, tone or instruments typical of the genre, but pulls in elements from "outside" of the foundational boundaries of traditional soul. Our new sample pack, Distant Gardens, pulls inspiration from a more recent and popular Avant Soul artist, Solange Knowles.

Pulling inspiration from her past two albums "A Seat At The Table" and "When I Get Home", we used colorful synths from the Juno 106, unique hybrid instruments, lush Piano and Rhodes, live Bass, live Guitar & our unique vocal phrases to craft this new release.

This pack comes with 12 mini compositions with their stems, a total of 72 files. All of them can be chopped and replayed or dragged and dropped right into your DAW.

Samples are Key and BPM Labeled.

This is a digital download. All sounds included are compatible with any DAW or sampler (44.1K).
