NoteApp 1.0 (8) (Mac OS X)

NoteApp 1.0 (8) (Mac OS X) | 7 MB

NoteApp is a text editor for people who need something really simple yet beautiful. It works with plain text (TXT) files. It does not support any text formatting. The application supports light and dark modes. It looks fantastic in full-screen and split-view modes. NoteApp does not support markdown, and we're not going to change it. It's an incredibly simple app.

macOS comes with the default TextEdit application that integrates most tools needed when having to process a piece of text. The utility includes support for basic text formatting and relies on the RTF format for the output.

NoteApp is a minimalist text editor that simplifies things even more: it works only with the TXT format, so there are no formatting options, everything is in plain text.

Text editor that sports a minimalist yet modern design
The NoteApp user interface is represented by a single window where you can go ahead and start typing or pasting text. Naturally, NoteApp can also open TXT files that have been created with the help of a third party application.

The NoteApp window can be easily resized and moved around the screen (just hold down the mouse click in the top area of the window, even though there is no clearly delimited window bar), and you can choose to work with multiple files at the same time.

Switch between the dark and light interface mode to match your environment
NoteApp comes with a very limited number of customization options: you get to switch between the window and fullscreen mode or decide if you want to use the light or the dark theme for the interface.

Worth mentioning is that NoteApp can also automatically make the switch depending on the default system settings. More precise, if you opt to use the dark menu bar and Dock in the General panel that you can find in the System Preferences, NoteApp will also use the dark theme.

Distractions free editor that works only with plain text
Bottom line, NoteApp manages to deliver access to an environment where you can rely on basic text editing and management tools, without having to worry about the formatting.

NoteApp keeps everything in plain text, does not provide support for the Markdown markup, and allows you to work in full-screen mode to help you focus.
