David Colman (Disney, Amazon, Sony) is an Emmy Award winning character designer & story artist. One question he is asked all the time is: “How do you find your Art Style?” Well, in this course we will explore similar subjects in multiple design styles focusing on maintaining the subjects integrity no matter what shape vocabulary is implemented. We will be exploring everything from environments to characters, creatures and props. Additionally we will deep dive into various references and historical resources as design style inspiration.
