Kindred is a preset created solely for the purpose of fulfilling a personal longing for more than just a preset. I needed my time back and I needed to be in love with my work. It took 5 years to develop and perfect this preset, and now, it is going to be offered to you all in the hope that it fills your life like it has mine.

Kindred hopes to give you a foundation base edit with the contrast and tone you would find in a film scan. Not merely taking your digital image through a film development, but pushing many steps further into the tones you know and love of a film image. Will there ever be a perfect match to film photography in the digital world? Anyone who shoots film would say "No way!" and I would have to agree. But for now, Kindred hopes to mend the gap just a little more. From a photographer who couldn't afford to shoot film, that decided to emulate it as best she could and now shoots film anyway.
