What you'll learn

At the end of the course you will fully master GNS3, to be able to design, configure, and secure your networks using GNS3, along with troubleshooting skills

You will be able to conduct virtualized networking projects step by step , understanding all the logic and ending with advanced practical examples

You will Learn to effectively install, configure, and navigate GNS3 on Ubuntu, gaining mastery in managing IOS images and understanding its interface

You will Develop the ability to design and construct diverse network topologies, implementing VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, and essential network services

You will Acquire expertise in utilizing advanced GNS3 features, including GNS3 VM, Firewall Installation, and the application of Fortigate Firewall

You will Understand and implement NAT on Firewalls to bolster network security within simulated environments, ensuring a secure network infrastructure

You will Gain hands-on experience in diagnosing and resolving common network issues, refining the ability to troubleshoot effectively within GNS3

You will Learn to optimize network configurations to improve performance, applying strategies for efficient network operations

You will Demonstrate acquired skills through a comprehensive final project in two parts, applying learned concepts practically in simulated network scenarios

You will Start with the basics and progressively carry out more complex steps until you reach an advanced level and absolute mastery at the end of the course

Requirements

While not mandatory, prior experience with networking tools, simulation software, or hands-on work with network devices could be advantageous

Prepare the needed environment to follow the practical sessions (if you don't know how, don't worry, it's very easy, free, and I'll explain it to you in the course!)

A decent computer and of course, desire to learn!
