This is the big one, folks! This amazing course is almost thirty hours long! In this comprehensive course, you will learn how to create two Japanese game characters, Megaman, and Torch Man!

You will learn how to model these two characters. This course will show you, at every step of the way, how to use Maya's modelling tools to create these characters. Once you have finished modelling these characters, you will have mastered the art and skill of modelling inside of Maya, and will then be capable of modelling any character you desire.

Then we will move on to coloring and texturing the models. I will show you how to use Maya's Hypershade, which houses all the materials you need to use in creating shading and texturing effects for your models. You will learn about the Arnold standard surface shader and how to plug in certain nodes to create added effects, like the Ambient Occlusion, and texture maps.

Then it's on to lighting and rendering. You will learn the different lights used in this course, such as the SkyDome Light, and area lights. You will learn the difference between direct and indirect illumination and how to apply certain light effects to create dramatic lighting for your scene.

Finally, you will learn how to create gorgeous quality renders for your models, using the Arnold render engine inside of Maya, and what the settings mean, like aspect ratio, and sampling rates.

This course is epic, with a main emphasis on modelling in Maya, and after you have completed the course, you should be confident enough to be able to model at a professional level.
