Welcome to my course on urban sketching in line and wash.  In this course, I will walk you through a step by step process of creating a stunning painting of the City dome in Edinburgh.  we will be referring to a photograph that was taken by me on one of my many visits there.

If you like urban sketching and yet find it a challenge to get to a place of interest to paint, you will love this course! It has deep feelings of emotions towards the place as well as to my life that most mothers could relate to.  As a mother of two young kids, I find it a huge challenge to do plain-air sketches as I travel with them most of the time. So, I take photographs of the locations I like and has a deep love for and use it as a reference for my paintings.

I have broken down the course into easy and manageable chunks. That way, you are under no pressure to complete in one go. For anyone who's interested in sketching it from scratch, I have included a session explaining the drawing techniques and perspective. If you are not keen on sketching, I have provided you  a more elaborate line drawing that you can use.
