- You get to a scene, it's beautiful, you pull that super expensive camera out of your bag, but the light conditions are... blah. They're ambiguous at best. What to do? Well, in this video I explore those circumstances.
- With dull light, this RAW file has no vibe, no emotion, or any sense of light conditions at all. Here you can watch along as we explore two different directions for the image. Are you a dark and dreary type of person? Are you a bright and happy type of person? Whichever you are, there is a a processing direction for you in this tutorial.

- If you're into "grand landscapes" then you realize how import skies can be in the top third of your frame. Now there is a tutorial that focuses on just those areas above the landscape. I've always felt that focusing your processing on the sky is as important as the edit on the land, and I demonstrate that in this video.

- Have you ever wondered if you could take your worst images and turn them into something visually compelling? I pondered that idea recently while digging through my photo archives looking for something to process. The result is this video. I took a rather boring, flat, poorly composed photo through the paces in Photoshop to see if I could make an impactful image... and I think I did well! Pulling color out of colorless light, warping, land shifting, creating light rays, and more. This video shows you just what is possible if you throw aside your strict photography morals and embrace the art of digital imaging... something more and more people are doing these days!

- The “Something From Nothing” series that I started six years ago has been one of my favorite types of Photoshop tutorials to make, and this one is fairly extreme with a lot of techniques I haven’t shared before. For starters, it’s the only monochrome (*but not) image I’ve ever processed for a tutorial. Second, this video shows us just how crazy we can go with fog and atmospheric adjustments… which turns out to be A LOT.Then there are things like split-toning, handmade light rays, astonishing amounts of cloning from several exposures, how large of a role that the Adobe Camera Raw filter can play in our workflow, hand-drawn textures, and more.

- This jam-packed tutorial offers up over 30 lessons. These are tips, tricks, and techniques I’ve learned slowly over my 15 year career. Dealing with tree gaps, creating three dimensional foregrounds, custom sunstars, glistening water, light smoothing, and so, so much more. These are ideas and techniques that took me well over a decade to learn, now you can learn them in 90 minutes! As always, this tutorial is all information and no filler.

One of the most important, but least talked about, aspects of creating compelling imagery is atmosphere. There are two key elements I focus on while creating my work; light and atmosphere. Atmosphere is what allows you to build depth, varieties of texture, and a deep sense of moody weather in your photos. In this video I teach you everything I do in post-processing to enhance and create atmospherics. Topics covered include using atmosphere to create depth between your foreground and background, when and where to introduce haze, using atmosphere to help frame an image, targeted texture adjustments, building extra drama in waterfalls, creating and enhancing fog, getting the perfect rays of light, and how to correctly use glow/orton-effect to enhance highlights and tone down busy scenes... with over 15 example photos.

One of the few topics I have yet to cover in my instructional series, night photography! For this latest video I teamed up with my great friend and master of all things involving the Aurora Borealis, Arild Heitmann.
In this special two-part bundle we cover almost every aspect of night photography. My video goes into thorough detail about my theory for what makes a great composition in these dark scenes, the three different ways I capture my images at night, and the various techniques used to process photos taken after the sun goes down!
