LUT Application Layer. You can control the intensity of the LUT and add your tweaks to it. I normally just keep the internsity on 50% and play around with the temperature and tint to get the look that I want. This is where you make your primary adjustments. Either you do them manually or use a LUT to convert your image to REC709. The idea is to have an adjustment layer on top of your footage where you make the necessary adjustments to bring out the contrast and saturation and to fix your white balance.
These are the tools that I use in my professional career as a Photographer, Videographer, Editor and Motion Graphics Designer.
