Kirimomi Swash Font

Kirimomi Swash Font

A display typeface which is rooted in both classical form and the sharp edges of photoype lettering. The typeface looks back to the historic forms of French typefounder Jean Jannon for it’s base, as well as the curved terminals and weighty serifs of the work of William Caslon. The various interpretations of their work throughout history have been applied to give each letterform presence, stability and rigidity. Sharp phototype swashes culled from the logo for Emperor, a line of golf shoes released by Onitsuka Tiger thirty-plus years ago have been applied to give the face a timeliness of the Modern/Postmodern era, offsetting the historical skeletal frame.

Trajan Pro 3 Font Family - 6 Fonts for $175

Trajan Pro 3 Font Family

Since its initial release in 1989, Trajan has risen to international popularity as a distinctive and versatile display type family. Carol Twombly's sensitive interpretation of the Roman capitals inscribed at the base of Trajan's column in Rome serves as a testament to her skills as a designer, and to the craftsmanship of the ancient lettering artists who devised these elegant and enduring letterforms. Responding to requests from our customers for broader language coverage and for more weights, Adobe set out to extend the family. Principal Designer Robert Slimbach added Greek and Cyrillic as well as four new weights - two lighter than the original offering, and two heavier. The extended family now provides users with a range of six weights that vary in personality and function. Alongside his extension of Trajan Pro, Robert also created the Trajan Sans type family, which offers users a contemporary and stylish variation of the original seriffed design (see Related OpenType Packages link below).

YWFT QUE Font Family - 2 Fonts for $20

YWFT QUE Font Family

has been said that a strong typeface is made stronger when it is applied to a thoughtfully considered composition. Helvetica, perhaps the strongest of all typefaces, even starred in its own film. But to every thing, there is a season, and we here at YWFT feel that for every beautiful, perfect Helvetica movie starlet, there is a twisted, long-haired, misfit smoking in the bathroom. And so we introduce you to YWFT QUE. YWFT QUE is a display font that follows a new design mantra: "Conservatively Absurd." It was developed to be the anti-Helvetica; to send a middle finger to legibility. It snarls at Times New Roman and dropkicks "the norm" out da building. YWFT QUE journeys into the unknown, where sometimes letters look nothing like they should, and kerning has a mind of its own. YWFT QUE will conquer any poster project, sex up any website and take your motion work straight to the top of the World Tango Championships. Simply put, it follows no rules. Why sometimes, it's even impossible to read. YWFT QUE was originally drawn as the handset ELSE (2009), designed by YouWorkForThem.

Soft Press Font Family - 4 Fonts for $50

Soft Press Font Family

This is the rounded, softer version of Canada Type’s popular Press Gothic. Originally done in 2011 for a global publisher, this font has already seen plenty of magazine and book cover action, perhaps even more than the sharp condensed face that spawned it. And like Press Gothic, Soft Press comes with small caps and biform/unicase forms, in addition to the main upper/lowercase set. The extended language support covers a wide range, including Greek and Cyrillic, Turkish, Baltic, Central and Eastern European languages, Celtic/Welsh and Esperanto. The Pro version combines all three TrueType fonts into one OpenType-programmed font, taking advantage of class-based kerning, the small caps feature, and the stylistic alternates feature for the biform shapes.

Neo Tech Font Family - 12 Fonts for $780

Neo Tech Font Family

Neo Sans began as an intriguing assignment from a branding agency. The agency’s client wanted an “ultra modern” type family that was "futuristic without being gimmicky or ephemeral.” When a bureaucratic decision cancelled the project, Monotype staff designer Sebastian Lester decided to finish the design on his own. “I was left with a sketchbook full of ideas,” he said, “and thought it would be a shame not to see what came of them.” Lester decided that the principal ingredient of an “ultra modern” typeface was simplicity of character structure: a carefully drawn, monoline form, open letter shapes and smooth, strong curves. By further amplifying these qualities, he crossed the line from modern to futuristic. Two highly functional and versatile typefaces emerged. These are Neo Sans and Neo Tech, designs Lester describes as “legible without being neutral, nuanced without being fussy, and expressive without being distracting.” Both the Neo Sans and the more minimalist Neo Tech families are available in six weights, ranging from Light to Ultra, with companion italics. Neo Tech offers a suite of alternate characters.

Flexline Font for $20

Flexline Font

Flexline is originally a hairline typeface that can be bolded with its own stroke according to the user’s needs. When using a hairline font, which normally don't have a wide range of widths, people tend to stroke it looking for a more eye-catching advertisment or to emphasize a word in a text. The difficulty is that most typefaces are not designed to be stroked and in doing so people commit typographic crimes. This is not the case with Flexline. Flexline is a font created to be widened through its stroke. This happens thanks to its rounded endings, its great x-height and subtle unions that neither disappear nor become more pronounced.

MFC Hills Medieval Font for $25

MFC Hills Medieval Font

MFC Hills Medieval was developed from a unique historical Blackletter type specimen in the 1882 Hills Manual of Social and Business Forms. While you could use its ornate capitals to construct a monogram, this is not a monogram font, but a fully functional typeface for invitations and period lettering. From stylish and ornate capitals to a soft lowercase resembling bled ink, this period lettering style is a true eye-catcher. Because of some of the unique medieval letterforms, standardized letterforms were created as the default typeable letters while the true historical forms were setup as Stylistic Alternates. A sophisticated Blackletter for manuscripts and invitations alike.

Trim Mono Font Family - 5 Fonts for $169

Trim Mono Font Family

Knud V. Engelhardt (1882–1931) was an architect, printer and designer from the country of our laid back neighbours, Denmark. Knud’s characteristic letter forms have already made a strong impression on some modern typefaces. Most notably is probably Skilt Gothic by a fellow Swedish compatriot, where Knuds way of trimming the diagonal stems is one of the spices used to give the typeface its character. Fighting against the desire to make something similar, this new typeface instead takes the concept to a whole new level by trimming not only diagonals, but all possible letters! The result is something – different. Trim comes in a large family including manually hinted webfonts and high quality desktop fonts. Some are fat, some are skinny and some are just lagom. This is the monospaced version of Trim.
