Gentleman Font Family - 10 Fonts for $179

Gentleman Font Family

Gentleman font is a sans-serif font family of 10 weights – from hairline to black – designed by Juraj Chrastina. It is a legible typeface with clear geometry and spiced with nice humanist terminals enhancing its identity. We think Gentleman name suits perfectly to this family because of its beautiful outlines and elegant letterforms yet looking tight, compact and with own presence. Gentleman is surely a good choice both for screen applications and print media. Its multipurpose spreads over poster design, logos, headlines, body texts, stationary and back labels. Also very good for books, magazines and newspapers – an excellent choice even for small text size.

Nobel Font Family - 18 Fonts for $522

Nobel Font Family

Nobel offers personal variations on strict Bauhaus geometry. In 1929, three years after the Futura release, Sjoerd Henrik de Roos at Amsterdam explored alternative character sets to enliven basic Futura forms. The Nobel series was designed for Font Bureau by Tobias Frere-Jones, who fondly views Nobel as ‘Futura cooked in dirty pots & pans. The Extra Lights were added by Cyrus Highsmith and Dyana Weissman. Among other uses, Nobel is recommended for Newspaper, Magazine, Book, Web and Corporate use.

Hand Printing Press Font Family - 11 Fonts for $279

Hand Printing Press Font Family

Hand printing typography revolutionized the way books were published. The earliest printing presses made it possible for newspapers to reach the doorstep every morning, for information to freely be shared among the masses for the first time on a large scale…and the fonts that were used in those classic times are forever embedded within the collective memories of societies across the planet. It is to this collective memory that we give a visual form with our new Hand Printing Press Pack. Up for grabs are a set of 10 Hand Printing fonts plus one “Stamps” elements font. The fonts are: the Normal, the Stencil, the Eroded, the Meshed and the Scraped in REGULAR and BOLD versions; each of them displaying a simplistic yet classic printing style and as often happens lately, we are also offering you an “elements” pack, the “Stamps” font, to go with these to create your customized stamp giving to your creations a touch of “official documentation”.

Kumla Font for $49

Kumla Font

Kumla Skofabrik was built 1912 in Kumla, a nice little town just south of Örebro, about 218 km from Stockholm. At that time Kumla was the place to be if you were into shoe manufacturing. There have been about 140 shoe factories in Kumla and even today there are shoes being made in Kumla but the number of factories have been reduced to five. On the front side of Kumla Skofabrik letters from 1920 are spelling out the name of the factory, all in capitals. These letters have been the inspiration for our typeface, Kumla. An article describing the work in progress is posted on our blog. Nobody knows who drew the original letters on Kumla Skofabrik, but we dedicate this typeface to that person who we think made a really great job. Kumla is Letters from Sweden’s first release in the “Fabrik Suite” — a project inspired by Swedish industry, factories and harbors.

Built Font Family - 10 Fonts for $240

Built Font Family

Built has one job: making solid, compact headlines onscreen. Designed with trust and neutrality in mind, Built’s wraparound shapes speak your headlines in newsy voice. Subtle curls conjure a feeling of a different news era while not coming across as particularly old-fashioned. The Built family comes in five weights, from extra-light to bold. But not your typical thin to fat linear range. When you’re designing for the screen, there are practical limitations with light fonts. These days, with variable resolutions and screen sizes, going lighter means going bigger. Much bigger. And it’s no fun if your words end up falling off the line. Built actually gets narrower as it gets lighter. Now you can can scale way up and still have room to spare. Set attractive, oversized page titles without worrying if the words will fit. Tabular (monospace) numerals are handy when you have lists of numbers to align. In headlines, tabular numerals don’t look so hot–and they waste space. Lots of fonts let you choose between proportional and tabular numerals. OpenType technology lets designers access different types of numerals, but implementing OpenType features on the web isn’t fun–it’s not always practical. Built has a simple solution: if you turn off hinting, numerals, monetary symbols and most math symbols line up. Easy. Built has fractions, primes, numeric ordinals, compact accents, the Indian rupee and the Turkish lira. As Built loses weight, its asterisk sprouts more legs, retaining it’s presence even in Extra-Light. The italics are squeezed thin and loosened up on the sides, creating cool emphasis that’s more than just a slant. Built is available in Extra-Light, Light, Regular, Semi-Bold and Bold plus italics.
