Volcano is titling family of four is broken down into a gothic and island style. Since the release of these fonts most typefaces in the Scangraphic Type Collection appear in two versions. One is designed specifically for headline typesetting (SH: Scangraphic Headline Types) and one specifically for text typesetting (SB Scangraphic Bodytypes). The most obvious differentiation can be found in the spacing. That of the Bodytypes is adjusted for readability. That of the Headline Types is decidedly more narrow in order to do justice to the requirements of headline typesetting.

This is a geometric typeface. I designed almost all letters with true circle as I use circle. And this typeface don’t change its thickness. “Nitaka” means “2nd hawk”. Hawk is the second luckiest item in the first dream of the year in Japan. I wish it to a lucky item of user.
