Work in the "nude" genre is a mandatory stage in the artistic education of the photographer. You must understand how light works with the human body, how volumes are transmitted, how emotions are transmitted through a pose, and so on. This is a partially taboo topic, and part of the restrictions is legislative in nature. In the classroom, we will try to draw a line between the nude genre, eroticism and pornography, derive some aesthetic criteria, figure out who and why erotic images are used for, and consider the most important authors who have had a strong influence on the genre. For the class, a wealth of 18+ material has been collected on the history of this issue - Russian and Western publications, eroticism of the USSR period and so on.
