The Bum Up Pose has the baby is positioned on their tummy with their knee & elbow connecting and their chin and shoulder connecting. The head and bottom are then raised to create a curve.
I love how easy it is to transition the baby from the Side Pose gently onto their tummy into the Bum Up pose. This is where I curl their little feet up underneath their bottom and then I raise their head to create that arch in their back.
I love using little outfits and wraps and things like that to style this particular pose, and my clients love it because it shows off some beautiful little back rolls as well.
Now, it is important to understand that when you do put a baby into the bum up pose that they’re not all going to look the same. They’re not all going to go into position exactly the same, because babies have their comfy spot just like us.
