The course describes the physiological and clinical aspect of thyroid gland.This course covers the thyroid gland and the hormone they secret. It covers in detail the anatomy, relations of thyroid gland. The course addresses the regulation of thyroid hormones (Tri-iodothyronine or T3 and Tetra-iodothyronine or T4) in relation to hypothalamus hormone Thyrotropin Releasing Hormone (TRH) and anterior pituitary hormone that is thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH).
