Description

Mechanical design process is the process through which mechanical designs are conceptualized and developed into products. This course will take you through a step by step process of generating a design from a problem statement all the way from the idea to the in depth Engineering analysis till the Detail design phase.

It is a project based course which will take a design problem from real life situation and develop a design around it using the process. The Focus is the Mechanical engineering part where I breakdown the design problem into its Engineering bits and build it back up again using Engineering analysis and Detail design.

In the Analysis section a method to mathematically formulate the analysis for Optimal design will be taught along with downloadable resources for reference.

By taking this course you will truly appreciate the importance of the design process and how engineering analysis meets concept design and problem formulation.
