What you’re going to Learn
On this course we will take you right through from learning about the mind set of how to approach mixing right through to covering all the skills, tips, tricks and moves you need to take your productions to the next level.

You will learn how to approach mixing, what to look for when mixing and how to pick and choose the main elements wisely so you can create a massive sound stage. This can be a complete game changer. Mixing the low frequencies of your mixes can be troublesome to say the least; you will learn all about how to mix low end frequencies so you can create a tight and roomy bottom end in everyone of your mixes. You will learn how to get the elements of your mix to sound separate and create a spacious mix. Starting with choosing the right elements and then using the tools of your chosen DAW to help embellish and enhance those elements.

You will learn how to use group / bus mixing to help create space between the elements of your mix, how to mix opposite EQ’s and how to dynamically create space in your track when it is needed. You will learn all about creating a space for your mixes, how to use reverb to create a big soundstage for all of the elements of your mix, along with a good look at mid/side processing and panning practices. With the two live mixes at the end of the course, each an hour long, you will see the skills you have covered in the first 17 lessons put into practice in live mixing sessions.
