Some basic medical teology is helpful. This course covers the effects of diet and lifestyle on bone health from conception to late adulthood. This course is organized into 6 Modules that correspond to important stages of development in a woman's life and offers nutrition and lifestyle habits to adopt to promote healthy bones throughout these stages. Also covered are common bone disorders that may present as a result of nutritional deficiences in the developmental stages. At the end of this course the learner should be confident in being able to name key nutrients for bone health, identify areas of improvement in diet and lifestyle to maintain peak bone mass and prevention strats for common bone disorders.
