Colouring your Own Character for TV Development (Part 1)
English | 17m | Video 720p
Hey everyone! It's been a while, but I'm back again. This time we'll be going back and building upon my very first class about lining a character for TV series - where we learn how to colour our lined character. This is a one-out-of-two-part series on exploring colour, and how we can use that knowledge to aid our visual choices when creating our characters. In this part, we’re going to study different colour palettes in cartoons, and how they appeal to different age groups and target audiences. Next, we’re going to dabble a little bit on colour theory and how different colours react to each other. With that information, we can approach some mini exercises on observing various shows we love, doing character colour studies, and trying to identify the combinations of colour we’ve learned, while preparing to colour our character! This is a beginner level class, and you’ll need just two very simple things: your imagination, and some colouring materials, be it digitally or traditionally. Are you ready to embark on the journey of bringing characters to life? Click the enroll button now, and let’s get right into it! Homepage: https://skl.sh/2ZwmonA
