Learning by doing. If you are curious about how a game is created, or how to put the knowledge learned from books into your own code, then this course is for you. It covers fundamentals of software engineering in developing an interesting Python game step by step. From ideas to implementation, from data structures to algorithms, from problem analysis to solution, we will be writing a game called "Imitators" (more details in the Game Intro video). This course is divided in 15 short videos (excluding intros), most of which are about 2 ~ 5 minutes long. * In Day 01 ~ 04, we will start exploring some basic elements of the game, and learn how they are related to object oriented programming, basic data structures and algorithms etc. * In Day 05 ~ 08, we implement the core logic of the game. * In Day 09 ~ 14, there will be the design and implementation of 2 main features, along with finding, analyzing and solving software bugs. * On the final day, we will wrap up the game and discuss potential improvements, one of which can be made by binary representation, a key concept in computer science.
