This Game Design Course is designed for kids who have some prior experience with Scratch programming and want to take their skills to the next level. Scratch is a visual programming language that allows kids to create their own interactive stories, animations, and games. In this course, kids will learn advanced game design concepts such as designing game mechanics, creating custom sprites and backgrounds, and using complex programming logic to create more complex games. They will also learn about game design principles such as level design, game balance, and playtesting. Throughout the course, kids will work on a variety of game design projects, each building on the skills and concepts they've learned in the previous lessons. By the end of the course, they will have created their own fully functional games, ready to be shared with friends and family. Overall, this Game Design Course using Scratch Advance Level for Kids is a fun and engaging way for kids to develop their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, all while having fun and learning about game design. This course is complementary to Game Design – Level 2. Children will learn to further advance their game design skills at this level by dealing with more advanced concepts using Scratch 3.0.
