Ms Access

This course will provide learners with an overview of databases; introducing them to database history, modern database systems, the different models used to design, access and manipulate databases. The concepts of relationships within databases is also explored in this course.

At the end of the course, participants would learn/use/acquire the following techniques/knowledge:

An overview of databases, database objects and terminology
Planning a database structure and tables
Describe the Relational Database Design Process
Review Existing Data and Define Database Purpose
Understand concepts of Data Normalization
Determine Table Relationships and Designate Primary / Foreign Keys
