Compositing is one of the most powerful abilities you can learn in Photoshop. Although you may not be aware of it, compositing is going on all the time in photographs. Simply put, compositing is the combining of multiple pictures or elements into one large composite image in such a way that each element blends seemplessly.

There are a number of factors that we will look at when creating a composite.

  1. How to adjust light to dark values so that images match.
  2. Ways to cut out images quickly using 3 different techniques.
  3. Using adjustment layers to test how elements combine.
  4. A quick secret technique I use to cut out difficult hair.
  5. Using overlapping elements to bring an image together.
  6. Using brushes to create VFX.
