So in this class, not only will we dive into our memories and holiday nostalgia, but I’m also going be focusing on the DECISIONS I make in my process. To do that, I’m going to take you through my step-by-step process of illustrating a text-based recipe, stream of consciousness style. We’ll go from a text box full of words and a blank Photoshop file, to organizing the text, planning the composition, sketching the recipe, inking the sketches, and making final refinements. You’ll see what I did, and hear why I did it at every step.
