Hey there this is Ray Villalobos, senior staff author. And I want to welcome you to Bootstrap 4: First Look. In this course, we're going to take a look at some of the new features of the popular Bootstrap framework for building responsive websites. We're going to focus on the new features of the framework, with an eye for the things that you'll need to watch out for if you're migrating a website to the new platform. I'll start be giving you an overview of the upgrade. And then, we'll move to the base style sheet called "reboot.css".
Then, we'll talk about the changes to the Bootstrap grid, which includes a new, smaller break point. We'll move on to working with components like navigation, and the amazing new card component. Finally, we'll talk about some of the smaller changes to forms and tables, and what to do about the deletion of glyph icons. If you're thinking about moving a site from Bootstrap 3 to Bootstrap 4, then you'll definitely want to watch this course. As I always say: There's a lot to learn, but that's why you're here.
