In this class, you will learn how to paint woolen animals in a cartoon style in the Procreate app on your Ipad with Stylus, using special brushes created by me. I will teach you how to add depth to your digital drawings. After this class, you will take your art to the next level.

You will also receive unique tools, created especially for the needs of this class - brushes for Procreate. They are available for sale on Etsy, but you, as my student, get them for free. Is’t it cool?  

Your project will be painting a llama and a sheep, but in fact, with these brushes you can paint any fluffy animal you want. You will learn not only to paint wool, but also to give texture to your drawings, to create a light and shade effect, thanks to which your characters will give the impression of being three-dimensional.

At the end you need to share your .jpg designs in the gallery right next to mine and I'll send you some love :)

I will walk you through all the stages:

1. 2 exercises in which we focus on building light and shade and determining the direction of light 
2. adding texture
3. we will discuss the different blending modes of layers and see what effect they give
4. and only then we will move on to the actual design. At this stage, you will paint your sheep without any problems, and if the proportions of the llama are difficult for you, you can use the template I have prepared for you and paint your project on it.

After this class  you will feel confident enough to use the brushes to paint objects and other species of animals as well. You will easily add shadows and lights to your illustrations, give them depth and contrast, make them more expressive, and you will also be able to apply textures to any object. It will open up completely new possibilities for drawing.
