This is a fun and fast class using watercolor to loosely paint one of a kind designs inside a Book Cover that is then doodled with black marker and white gel pen.  This can be used on any notebook, day planner, journal, and of course your sketchbooks to replace stark blank covers with warm designs that immediately inspire you to write and create. 

This project is a low stress, free flowing project with some free-handing, however Kerrie offers a close up photo of her design and walks you through everything step by step in each video.  Each person will have a unique piece of art. 

While teaching, Kerrie demonstrates basic watercolor and inking techniques used to create the blending and layering of the subject.   These learned skills can transfer to your future projects and elevate your watercolor abilities and confidence.

Now when you open your notebooks, journals, and sketchbooks, you will feel inspired to start writing, painting, and creating, because you’ve taken away the blank cover, replacing it with a fresh and colorful inviting motif.
