In this Skillshare class I'm going to introduce you to digital illustration via Autodesk's Sketchbook Pro. Your project will be to learn the basics of the Sketchbook app and create an original illustration from start to finish. I’ll take you through my process for creating an illustration based on a photograph, and suggest some best practices and tips to help you out!

Some rudimentary knowledge of design software will come in handy, but this course is meant for someone who is just getting into either digital illustration or Sketchbook Pro. You'll only need two things for this class: Some kind of drawing tablet or compatible device, and the Sketchbook application available from sketchbook.com
