In this class you'll learn how to draw and paint elements for illustrations of types of foods. You will also learn to apply colors in layers, highlights and shadows. I will talk about the ingredients, the colors, representations of the subject and the food itself throughout the class.

At the end of this class you will have a clear picture of the elements of different types of foods that you can use to paint your own favorite dish.

I will also show you how to convert some of the illustrations into whimsical characters to present them as greeting cards.
