You've probably heard how important product mockups are to growing your art business. They help your clients see your vision and make your designs stand out from the crowd. With Mockup Academy, you'll quickly learn how to make amazingly realistic mockups. In this class you'll learn everything you need to know about mocking up curved surfaces. We'll start with mugs and then I'll share tricks for warping art around bowls, and create the illusion of depth on a bowl's interior. You can apply the techniques to all kinds of curved surfaces -- like lamp shades, water bottles, cups, pitchers, flower pots, soap dispensers, etc.
This is Class 2 of Mockup Academy, and while I recommend starting with Class 1, it's not totally necessary. We'll go over the basics at the beginning of the class and I'm also including the popular "Help, It's Not Working" section at the end, to answer FAQs and offer troubleshooting help, making it easy for you to get started making mockups right away! I've been a surface designer for more than 6 years and have licensed art to dozens of companies. I created this course because it's taken me years to learn how to make mockups and I would have loved to have found a course like this when I started out! I'll be sharing all my secrets -- from how to set up your layers for maximum efficiency, how to use layer masks and smart objects, tricks for outlining objects, and how to use the transform tools. Thanks for watching this class -- I hope you have fun learning how to make mockups and can use what you learn here to propel your art business to a new level!
