We will start the class with the supplies we need, then we will talk about 3 types of vanishing point perspective, how it affects our drawing, and which are the specifics to take into account. After we will talk about the basics of perspective drawing, and will identify one-point perspective, two-point perspective, and three-point perspective, we will work on our main project. The project consists in drawing and painting in watercolors the architecture of the ruins of city Petra, Jornadia. The work itself is interesting, because the perspective is taken from below and our builduing has a very visible three-point persective, that makes it really difficult to work on it. Apart of the perspective, we will draw a very beautiful camel, and will differentiate the camel that stays in the first plan, to our builduing that stays behind of it. Once the drawing will be done, we will start to work in watercolors. This time we are working with many washes. We will start to specify the main washes for the light and shadow, once those are made, we will proceed with working on details and on shadows. At the moment of working with watercolors, our main goal will be to keep the lprinciples of light and shadow, to create depth and maintain the interesting vibes of daily light.
