The intention of this class is to get you comfortable with the layout, navigation and basic tools of Blender through two fun projects. You will create 2 Liquid Simulations using Blender 2.83.



This class has been broken into 3 Parts. 


Part 1 will focus on learning the following:



  1. Create a new file.

  2. Save it correctly

  3. Move objects

  4. Resize and Scale Objects

  5. Rotate Objects

  6. Navigating the 3D workspace


Part 2: 



  1. New Object

  2. Apply Quick Liquid in Quick Effects

  3. Assigning Cache Folder

  4. Applying Mesh to a Simulation

  5. Baking Data

  6. Switching Between views in the Viewport

  7. Adjust World colour

  8. How to render

  9. Sequence images 


Part 3:



  1. Creating a Liquid simulation from scratch using Mantaflow

  2. Assigning correct properties to each object

  3. Create Spray, Bubbles and Foam particles

  4. Assign a mesh to each particle 

  5. Assign new materials to each particle

  6. Using the shader editor to change materials and make it look realistic 

  7. Render and Sequence Images
