Lip Sync Masterclass: Dragonframe Too!
https://www.skillshare.com/classes/Lip-Sync-Masterclass-Dragonframe-Too/169518847
Lip sync for stop motion isn't as complicated as you might imagine. A great way to learn and work out mouth shapes is to simply watch your own mouth in the mirror or film yourself speaking the lines. You can make mouths out of clay, fabric, hand draw them - anything goes.
In this class we are going to cover everything from making a mouths set and making it Dragonframe compatible in Photoshop as well as going over essential lip sync tools in the software itself. There will be track reads, how to add a second character and using your dope sheet to animate with too. A lot of good lip sync is about practice... there is no wrong or right way to choose what shapes you use. Two different people might choose a completely different sequence of mouths, that's normal and okay. So long as it reads well to you and looks correct when you play it back you are all good. Don't over-think things, simple is often best and less is definitely more :)
