Hi there, welcome and thanks for joining my class. I’m Sarah; a lettering artist and designer and I’m so excited to show you my process for creating chunky letters!

My class is a Beginners Guide To Chunky Letters and Fun Doodles. If you are a beginner or have no knowledge of lettering, this my friend, is just the class for you. With the simple lettering techniques used in the lessons, you’ll find it easy to follow and apply to your work.

So here’s a quick rundown of what you’ll learn in this class:

First we’ll start by setting up some lettering guides.

I’ll show you how to draw some super fun chunky letters.

We will go over the tough ones like G, K, M, Q, R, and S.

Then we will pick a quote and learn about composition and word hierarchy.

We’ll then lay out our quote and prep it for inking.

Next I’ll show you how I ink your drawing and add some cute doodles.

Finally, we will mock our artwork to share online.

As a bonus, I’ve included a time-lapse of my digital lettering process!

After this class, you’ll have some basic knowledge of hand lettering, composition, and how to mock your artwork.
