Designing Invitations on the iPad Pro with Calligraphy and Watercolor Elements

Designing Invitations on the iPad Pro with Calligraphy and Watercolor Elements

English | 51m | Video: 720p

One of my absolute favorite uses for my iPad Pro is creating one-of-a-kind invitation designs for special occasions. Using your iPad Pro, Apple Pencil and the Procreate app, in this class you'll learn how to design invitations using hand-lettered calligraphy and watercolor elements. The techniques used can also apply to art prints, social media graphics, and other creations.

We'll cover essential tips and tricks for using layers in the Procreate app, lining up your hand-written elements, and will dive deep into my process for two of my favorite watercolor-inspired design elements: 1. a simple yet beautiful "watercolor wash" behind your lettering, and 2. a watercolor botanical wreath.

This is not an all-encompassing introduction to iPad lettering class, but rather focuses on using your iPad for the purpose of creating these specific designs. I hope you enjoy it and please remember to let me see your beautiful creations in the Project Gallery!
