I will take you through each step starting with drawing the peony, onto mixing colours, painting the background, painting the petals and leaves and finally adding the finishing touches to add some depth.

If you'd rather stick to the painting and don't fancy drawing anything, I have included a template that you can trace, to replicate the same peony I have drawn in this class. 

In my opinion, there is no right or wrong way to paint with acrylics, these are just my techniques. Feel free to use and adapt them to create your own painting if you don't want to paint the peony exactly as I have.
