In this class, we are going to learn how to make flat vector portraits in Adobe Illustrator. 

We'll start by making some preparations to create the basic shape, which we’re going to be working with, and finish up with 6 different characters.

While creating the avatars, we’ll explore the most common and useful Adobe Illustrator tools, such as:

• Selection and Direct selection tool;


• Pen tool, Line Segment tool, Rectangle, Rounded rectangle, Ellipse;


• Scissor tool;


• Eyedropper tool;


• Shape builder tool.

After completing this class, you'll be able to create a bunch of cute vector characters or even your own portrait. And also, you’ll learn how to use some basic tools in Adobe Illustrator.

This class is open for anyone who may not have any prior knowledge or experience in vector graphics but wants to know how to incorporate Adobe Illustrator into the creative process.
