In this class I'll show you, step by step, how to paint this gorgeous, brightly coloured vase with flowers using oils paints and our fingers. Finger painting is a beautiful, relaxing way to work with oils, and if you've never tried it, then I highly encourage you to give it a go;-)
It's suitable for beginners as well as anyone who has used oils before but ever worked with their fingers. But it's really aimed at the complete beginner - even if you've never used oils or paints before. I selected a project where we can use the basic three primary colours only, plus white, to keep a beginner's costs down to a minimum. And because we're using our fingers, you won't need brushes, mediums or solvents. The class is broken down into small lessons, so you can watch each lesson, then go and paint that section. What if you're not a complete beginner? If you already have a stash of oil paints and some knowledge of colours and values, you can absolutely change up the colours and create a different vase of flowers;-) I also give a few directions throughout the class for ways you can change it if you want to.
