Watercolor Waterscape: Paint Reflections Using the Wet-on-Wet Technique

English | 36m | Video 1080p

Welcome to Watercolor Waterscape: Paint Reflections Using the Wet-on-Wet Technique.

In this class I'll be showing you how I did this painting from start to finish, starting with the sketch and ending with the touch ups and finishing touches.

In the lesson on the reflections you'll see how I do them in one shot, from wetting the paper, to adding the blue paint for the water, to adding the green and brown paints for the reflections, and to lifting the still wet paint to create movement in the water. You'll also see how I make a judgment call when I want to make a correction to the trunk while the paint is still wet.

This class is for you if you have experience painting, and are comfortable with mixing colors and controlling the thicknesses of your paint mixes.
