Hi, I’m Anne Beal, an animation artist, filmmaker, and installation designer. My work has been featured at international exhibitions including Annecy International Animation Festival, Chicago International Film Festival, Brazil’s Festival of Electronic Language and dozens more. I taught animation at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for 3 years and am currently on the animation faculty at the School of the Visual Arts in NYC.
In this class, I'll teach you how to make a jointed paper puppet for stop-motion animation. By the end of the class you'll have a complete puppet, ready for action! In addition to animation, these puppets can be used for silhouettes in theatrical productions, overhead projections, and other artistic applications. They are a fun crafting activity, too, and make delightful decorations. More info - https://skl.sh/2No2xoZ
