The PaperArt is a modern trend in crafting that has been developed and promoted by a Ukrainian artist Tatiana Sorokina. She suggested using strings made out of napkins to imitate different expensive, labor- and time-consuming art techniques, such as metal engraving, chasing, forging, pottery, and even embroidery. Over the years of mastering this technique, I have found that using the Paper Art, in general, and in the imitation of metal texture in particular, is the fastest and simplest way to get the wow effect on each décor object created. I am so excited to share my knowledge and personal tips in creating pseudo-metal art objects with you. Do not worry if you are new in décor and painting. This class is developed for beginners, and has no prerequisites. In less than 20 minutes, we will cover: required supplies, basic background textures, basic ornaments, painting technique.
