English | 1hr 35m | Video: 720p

Some of the greatest ideas, theories and concepts are created with two objects: A Pen and Paper.

In this class, my aim is to help you develop or enhance your pre-existing freehand sketching (drawing) skills from a User Experience (UX) stand point.

Some of the things we will learn in this class are:

  • Line weights and types of lines and where they are used and why
  • Writing in a legible way so it can be easily understood
  • Icons, symbols and branding
  • Human emotions and expressions: Happines, Sadness, Anger, and Indifference
  • Storyboarding with 3 different characters: Stick people, star people and comic book people
  • Journey mapping using comic book people and iconography
  • Wireframing for mobile, tablet and PC
  • Exercises and
  • Conclusion - What has been your main takeway

This course is heavy on practice, so buckle up and sit tight we will hit the ground running...

There is no entry level or requirement, all we ask is for you to follow me on the screen and come up with your own solution so we can show-case it on the student portal or social media.
