When photographing groups of people, particularly five or more in a group, someone will probably have their eyes closed. This often happens when photographing people in open areas such as the beach or when you have a chronic blinker. One way too help solve this problem is to take five or more exposures of each pose paying attention to the eyes as best you can which does two things, it will most likely give you some images of the same pose with everyones eyes open and you can just show them those images, or use one of those to open eyes on some of the other images with closed eyes to give them a bigger selection.
